2. Order Cancellation by Customer

Customers may cancel their order only before it has been packed or shipped.

We will review your request and confirm whether the order is eligible for cancellation.

3. Cancellation Time Limit

Orders can generally be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order, provided that the order has not been packed or handed over to the courier partner.

Once the order has been shipped, cancellation requests cannot normally be accepted.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders:

COD orders can also be cancelled before dispatch.
Once a COD order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
If a customer repeatedly places COD orders and refuses delivery without a valid reason, we reserve the right to refuse future COD orders or require prepaid payment for future purchases.

5. Prepaid Orders

If you have already paid for your order and it is cancelled before shipment, you will be eligible for a full refund.

If the order has already been shipped, cancellation is generally not possible. In such cases, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy.

6. Refund for Cancelled Orders

If your cancellation request is approved before shipment:

A 100% refund of the amount paid will be processed.
Refunds are usually initiated within 2–5 business days after cancellation approval.
The refunded amount may take additional time to appear in your account depending on your bank, UPI provider, or payment gateway.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method whenever possible.

7. Cancellation by Grocerybag.shop

We reserve the right to cancel any order under the following circumstances:

Product is out of stock.
Incorrect pricing or pricing error.
Incorrect customer information.
Payment failure.
Suspected fraudulent activity.
Delivery location is not serviceable.
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If we cancel a prepaid order, the full payment received will be refunded.

8. Non-Cancellable Orders

Orders cannot normally be cancelled if:

The order has already been packed.
The order has been dispatched to the courier.
The shipment is already out for delivery.
The product has been delivered.
